My client received a letter from Rudichuk Life Services of Canada, it said that she had inherited $10,800,020.00 US Dollars; signed by Pasqual Molina. It was such a gentle and kind and simple letter. But it was a complete hoax:
1) A life insurance sounding company never writes in that kind style, and actually "apologized" for this letter being a "surprise". Like really, actually apologized and was surprised.
2) A relative with the same last name had died who was a Stock Broker and a CPA and her cause of death was COVID-19. WOW a money maker of a relative!
3) The life insurance code stipulates that the money be paid to the state if the property is abandoned after 2-4 years. Again, really 2-4 years, no such thing!!!
4) The person wanted us to contact them at [email protected] or [email protected], with phone number +13064006909 and fax +13069127320. Really, since when did corporate employees start giving out their gmail address.
5) The signature was from Pasqual Molina, Esq. Legal Practitioner | Insurance Broker.
Don't be fooled. Stay away. here is what the Federal Trade Commission has to say about it. https://consumer.ftc.gov/consumer-alerts/2023/08/did-you-get-letter-lawyer-about-cashing-someone-elses-life-insurance-policy
